Appraisal of numerous shopping centers in the Pacific North West including Surrey Place in BC, Park Place in Alberta, Montesano Shopping Center in Washington and a Portland, Oregon Strip Center. Peter has also partnered with Thomas Retail Consultants on various Retail consulting projects.

Financial Consulting to a national department store chain. Provided a market study with advice on appropriate rates of return for similar retail property.

Advisory Services to the Fairview Heights Citizens Planning Committee. Advised on rezoning implications and authored a report entitled ” Economic Feasibility Study of Redevelopment in Inner City Conversion Areas”.

Valuation of numerous large office buildings in the Pacific Northwest including Bentall IV, HSBC Building, Granville Square, Harbour Center, Terasen Gas Building, 999 West Hastings, The Marine Building, Airport Executive Park, Metrotown Place, Guinness Tower, 401 West Georgia.

Anderson Concrete. This project comprised the co-ordination of a very large portfolio of Concrete Batch Plant appraisals throughout the South Western United States.

Appraisal of a large proposed industrial office project in South Seattle

Analysis of Public Sector Office space leasing activity throughout British Columbia. Tested effectiveness of leasing activity versus market performance.

South Korea. This assignment comprised the appraisal of more than a dozen commercial properties in South Korea including high-rise refrigerated warehouses.

An International Fast Food Chain was exploring possible new locations and this project comprised researching comparable land sales to assist in their site selection process.

Mexico City. A large automobile manufacturing plant near the Polanca District of Mexico City was decommissioned and an appraisal was required to assist with the possible sale of the property. The project also entailed assisting local appraisal staff with US appraisal guidelines.

Property Consulting to a large Life Insurance Company. Responsible for valuation and property tax review on various commercial properties in their Vancouver portfolio.

A ‘Big Four’ Accounting Firm needed assistance in their receivership work pertaining to a bankrupt mortgage investment business. This project comprised the co-ordination of a significant number of appraisals in this regard.
